Giro Insurgent Spherical Mips Bike Helmet

Pairing a ball-and-socket design with ample cooling airflow, this Giro bike helmet delivers comfort and confidence. It's powered by Mips® technology to help with impact protection.

To find your size, position a tape measure just above your ears and about 1 in. above your eyebrows. Keep the tape level to measure the circumference around the largest part of your head and then find the corresponding size in the Specifications tab.

• Spherical technology with ball-and-socket design powered by Mips® helps redirect impact away from the brain by allowing the outer liner to rotate around inner during a crash
• Spherical design also eliminates contact with hard plastic or slip-planes against the skin
• Precise placement and shape of intake vents engineered to optimize cool airflow over your head
• Wind Tunnel venting system allows hot air to easily escape from the rear of the helmet
• Tool-free breakaway visor bolts are engineered with an integrated Allen key receiver for easy removal and replacement in case of crash
• Central visor bolt hole does double duty as an ideal location for mounting POV action cameras
• In case of emergency, cheek pads are easily removable without disturbing your head and neck position
• Zone along the lower edge of the helmet is designed to allow some flex, reducing the role a helmet can play in certain collarbone impacts
• Roc Loc® Air DH design suspends the helmet slightly off the skull, allowing cool airflow to pass directly over your head and enhancing vent and channeling performance
• Fit and feel adjustments mimic the Roc Loc 5, allowing you to easily custom-tune fit tension and fore-aft tilt of the helmet in seconds using a single hand
• This revolutionary fit system adds a new dimension to helmet performance by enhancing cooling as well as fit comfort and stability
• IONIC+ padding with pure silver, the secret ingredient that gives it the power to provide natural, permanent odor protection and keeps your helmet feeling fresh
