Edelrid Swift 48 2R Eco Dry 8.9 mm x 70 m Rope

With a small diameter, low weight and pleasant handling, the Edelrid Swift 48 2R Eco Dry 8.9 mm Rope is ideal for climbs where weight matters. And it's made with reused yarn to reduce its footprint.

Note: Half and twin ropes are designed to be used in matching pairs (size, length and brand should match). Using a mismatched pair can cause excessive wear on the ropes, exposing you to a higher risk of rope failure. Never climb with only 1 half or twin rope, unless it has also been rated as a single rope.

• With a diameter of 8.9 mm, it is one of the thinnest single ropes on the market
• Made on a braiding machine with 48 bobbins, the rope has a particularly fine sheath structure while also offering outstanding abrasion resistance
• Reduced ecological footprint due to the reuse (2R) of high-quality leftover yarns from Edelrid production processes
• Durably water-repellent and dirt-resistant thanks to the PFC- and PFAS-free Eco Dry finish
• Water absorption of less than 2% is far lower than required by the UIAA Water Repellent Test
• Certified as a single, half and twin rope
• Thermo Shield treatment for pleasant handling
• 3D lap coiling enables instant use without tangles
• The rope color varies due to the use of leftover rope
